About Dave Monaco:

Dave is Head of School at Parish Episcopal in Dallas, TX.  He has been involved in education for the past 24 years. He graduated with a B.A. in History from Hamilton College and earned an M.A.T. from Teachers College at Columbia University. Before joining Parish, he spent 16 years at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, North Carolina. During his time at Ravenscroft, he served as Assistant Head of School for Academic Affairs, Middle School Head and Founding Director of Wake Summerbridge – an enrichment program serving middle school students from the public schools of Wake County. He has taught classes in History, English and Study Skills at the middle school level and has also coached.  His educational philosophy is: “Engage the mind, connect to the heart.” In the best of circumstances, if not in every case, the most successful teachers do both with and for their students.

About the Founder & CEO

Dr. Koshi Dhingra has dedicated her career to STEM education and is passionate about having every child live up to their potential. Seeing a lack of girls and other underrepresented youth in STEM programs, she founded talkSTEM in 2015 to address the imbalance. She has a doctorate in science education from Teachers College, Columbia University, has years of experience teaching in graduate and undergraduate programs, and has held leadership roles in universities. She advises and collaborates with a broad range of educational institutions globally. Dr. Dhingra began her career teaching science in middle and high school in New York. She lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
