We just kicked off our walkSTEM tour at Klyde Warren Park, now live on the Otocast App. Did you know that Klyde Warren Park is a 5-acre deck park over a recessed eight-lane freeway? Not only is it a fantastic green space in Downtown Dallas, but it is also an engineering marvel. We are thrilled to partner with Klyde Warren Park, who is committed to creating fun, education activities for children, families, schools, and after-school groups. Check out the self-guided walkSTEM tour when you are at the park next and we promise you will be amazed. All you need is a smartphone and a curious mind – no specialized background is required.

We are excited about our new partnership with Klyde Warren Park. If you are interested in creating a walkSTEM tour in your space, whether it be a park, museum, school, or any other space (public or private), definitely reach out to us. We are committed to working with partners to create STEM walking tours everywhere!

In the photos below, you can see our very special guests that joined us very recently at our kickoff event.

The app allows for people to arrive at a tour stop and listen to our audio guide. If they like, they can also read the transcript in our information section, and look at pictures in the stop’s photo section. Soon, you will be able to receive a walkSTEM badge after completing eight stops. Each stop also has extension activities to do later.
