We are excited about the abundance of freely accessible and convenient tech tools that, coupled with talkSTEM videos, can share STEM stories with students in math, science, STEM, and STEAM classrooms. Especially during our current times, these tools are helping teachers to engage students. Join us next week for our very first teacher webinar exploring these tech tools!

Hidden Tech Treasures: Maximize Popular Tech Resources to get Students Active and Creative – September 2, 4:00pm – 5:00pm CT
For teachers of grades 4-12

Flipgrid, Bitmoji, ThingLink, EdPuzzle, Google Tour… These virtual resources may be familiar or sound like a foreign language, but they’re becoming increasingly important as education transitions more and more to the digital landscape. In this webinar, we will share engaging ways of integrating these technologies with talkSTEM resources in order to get students interacting with the world around them. Participants will get sample customized creations using these platforms for their own use.

About the Founder & CEO

Dr. Koshi Dhingra has dedicated her career to STEM education and is passionate about having every child live up to their potential. Seeing a lack of girls and other underrepresented youth in STEM programs, she founded talkSTEM in 2015 to address the imbalance. She has a doctorate in science education from Teachers College, Columbia University, has years of experience teaching in graduate and undergraduate programs, and has held leadership roles in universities. She advises and collaborates with a broad range of educational institutions globally. Dr. Dhingra began her career teaching science in middle and high school in New York.
